Indy's Story of Toe Injuries
Indy, a 10 year old Greyhound, had some concerning changed on X-rays of his toes. The dilemma was, is it cancer or not? Fortunately, a biopsy revealed a benign condition. His owner AB writes: “A few years ago you performed a bone biopsy on the back paw of my black greyhound Indy. You believed the moth-eaten appearance was due to injuries and not cancer. You saved my Indy from undergoing amputation of one or two toes.
For the great care you provide your patients and the care you take in communicating with their owners AND for bringing focus to an inhumane sport (Greyhound racing), please accept my sincerest thanks and gratitude!”
