Thank you after… penis amputation???
Kado, a 3 year old Husky, had a tumor (mast cell tumor) on the tip of his prepuce. The only way to completely remove it was to remove the entire prepuce, and therefore, sacrifice (ie remove) his penis. A new opening (urethrostomy) was created to allow him to pee.
After surgery, his owner KM writes: “We have no regrets on having the surgery. We saved his life and now we can enjoy him for many more years. You were extremely helpful thru out the process. You answered all the phone calls and e-mails and had great bed side manner. Thank you!”
And later: “Kado is running around, howling up a storm, playing, eating and extremely happy”
